We’re participating in J-AGRI!

Kyushu University will exhibit at J-AGRI, to be held at Makuhari Messe from October 7 to 9, and will also host an exhibitor seminar.

J-AGRI is Japan’s largest and one of Asia’s leading exhibitions dedicated to agriculture and livestock.

At this year’s exhibition, we will showcase research from Kyushu University based on our recommendations for sustainable food production, published in February.
The main content is planned around the following four areas:

  1. Research and practical applications of insect-based alternative feed, pest control, and farmland environmental assessment
  2. Production and social implementation of high-functional crops, as well as the development of Japan’s domestic seed and seedling industry
  3. Breeding and production of high-productivity, high-functional fish species for land-based aquaculture, and the advancement of production systems
  4. Comprehensive analysis of food components and the creation and branding of next-generation food production through their digitalization

We look forward to welcoming companies, organizations, local governments, and producers who are interested in working toward sustainable food production by leveraging the knowledge and technologies of universities.
