From July 13 to 15, 2025, ICCE19’s satellite symposium “Fish Reproduction in the 21st Century: Progress and Possibilities” convened, featuring cutting-edge presentations by researchers from Japan and abroad. The event was marked by vibrant discussions, and some fifty participants attended. The poster session, in particular, offered students and early-career researchers a valuable forum for exchange.
At the Integrated Initiative for Designing Future Society, the new “Sustainable Food Resource Design Program” has launched this fiscal year. This program includes the test bed for sustainable supply system for marine resources. Going forward, it will drive the social implementation of technologies for the aquaculture and utilization of high-productivity seafood species.
