Professor Atsuhiko Isobe, Sub-Leader of the Environment and Food Unit and Leader of the Marine Science Group, has been awarded the Society Award by the Oceanographic Society of Japan.
The award ceremony took place at the 2025 Autumn Meeting of the Oceanographic Society of Japan, held in Hakodate.
This prestigious award was given in recognition of his long-standing and highly impactful research on the “global dynamics of marine plastics.”
