Updated on December 3
The rescheduled event “the 105th Science Cafe @ Fukuoka”, which was abruptly canceled the other day, has been set for December 19 (Thursday) from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
—————————————
“Science Cafe @ Fukuoka” is an event where anyone can easily participate and ask questions by minimizing the distance between instructors and participants. No basic knowledge is required. Every time we hold an event, we try to make sure that all participants, from children to adults, can enjoy science.
Professor Tomohiko Akahoshi, Director of the Emergency and Critical Care Center at Kyushu University Hospital, will be speaking at “the 105th Science Cafe @ Fukuoka.”
This event is organized in collaboration with Think Tank Unit and Medicine & Health Unit.
We look forward to your participation.
The theme for this event is “About Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation: Can You Save a Life in an Emergency?”
What would you do if someone collapsed?
Even if you are not a medical professional, there are things you can do. One of them is resuscitation through chest compressions, also known as cardiac massage.
We hope you will take this opportunity to learn about the theory and practice of this life-saving technique.
